To the Family & Friends of Mr. Spira~ I just watched the ID special on John. It was heartbreaking. You are all in my prayers. I am curious…I am wondering if by chance you attempted a third posting of the missing banner? My first thoughts when I heard that the first two had been taken down were if you made a third attempt and perhaps set up some sort of surveillance camera that it could capture if someone tried to vandalize the sign or remove it. It’s just a thought. I hope that the authorities can get their act together. John deserves more and your family deserves answers.
Hello I watched the episode on John missing tonight,it really hit me as we are both the same age and I play guitar as well and also in the contruction business and grew up just 90miles north ,going by what I saw tonight you were done a great injustice on how this case was followed up I mean come on i’m just a plumber in Maryland and I could of done more to find out what happened then those detectives I mean to make their first step on it being a willful disappearance what a waste of time at a such a crucial point and I see they could never show her face or even say her name but whats up with the ex-wife and why so seacretive with her what is she royalty or something if you ask me by just what I got to hear and see tonight somebody didn’t want the papers finalized I’m sure I can’t be the only one that thinks that sure would like to know why her name can’t be mentioned,well anyway he sure seemed like a great guy that seemed to have many talents someone needs to be held responsible for taking him away in his prime I hope you get justice
Hello, I just finished watching Disappeared and my heart goes out to the family and friends of Mr. Spira. It seems that you have tried and exhausted many different things to find him or any clue of him. I was wondering if maybe you have thought of a Psychic? I hope I am not out of line in mentioning that. What have you got to lose? I also agree with Stefanie who commented above maybe put up another poster and video tape it maybe you can see who the culprit may be? I wish you nothing but the best.
To the Spira family, you have my deepest sympathy for the missing of your loved one John–I agree he seemed like a good guy and I pray you find justice. I am like the others who have responded to this case, after watching the Disappeared show and reading updates on the cases here in Chicago. I am not an investigator but I would think based on the only know clues that have been made available you as a family are right to suspect foul play and your person(s) of interest would be “Dave” and “Suzanne.” My first initial gut reaction to the case was Suzanne had something to do with the disappearance. However after hearing about the banners being removed and the fire being set to John’s place of work, I would think that someone on the job had some involvement. There are a lot of signs and clues that may point to this–one being the industrial wrap missing, two the time frame or small window of time the disappearance could’ve occurred and three the fact that the company was in some financial trouble. Is there a way you can get a private investigator (if you haven’t already) to approach the case as a homicide and investigate it with this angle? I applaud you for not giving up with trying to find the answers you and your family deserve to know. God bless you all.
