I found out that the sign was taken down by a guy who lives on forest preserve property because it bothered him even though it wasn’t facing him. He apparently put it in his garage. I have been assured that it will be put back up. If any of you happen to drive by could you please let me know if it’s back up? Thanks
Drove past that corner last week, approx 10-27. Unfortunately the sign was not up. I pray that John comes home someday!
I drove by there last Monday – the sign is back up on the fence. I was happy to see that. I did not know John, but I feel very bad for his family. There’s someone out there that has the answers – come forward. Let the family get some closure.
The sign is still up as of March 2010. I go that way once in awhile, and just saw it.
Can’t believe the travesty this situation has become. Too many unanswered questions.
