According to the Sheriff: “The citizens of Dupage County have a right to expect the best law enforcement services possible delivered to them in a cost effective, efficient manner, we have exceeded those expectations and are a leader in law enforcement, Court Security and Corrections.”

This statement doesn’t seem to apply in John’s case. As part of the protocol, Sheriff Zaruba describes the “Critical Reach” program. “A part of Sheriff Zaruba’s missing person’s protocol, this high tech program helps spread the word about missing persons…using a computer or faxing system to distribute color bulletins to law enforcement agencies, schools, libraries and other businesses.”

This clearly has not been done in John’s case. Further, if you google Dupage County missing persons, there is nothing on the Sheriff’s Dept. website and the County website does not list John. Unflippin’ believable!! They want to continue to call this a missing persons case yet don’t even list it on the DuPage county website despite this new “protocol”. Nor is John listed on the unsolved murders case on their website. It’s truly shameful.

A friend called me and told me that she spoke with someone at DuPage County about the protocol and they weren’t even aware of John’s case. How is this possible?
