Private Investigator on John Spira case
I have retained Private Investigator Matt Hale of Illinois Investigative Solutions Inc., 630 N. Washington, Naperville, IL 60563. His email address is mhale@napervilleinvestigators.com. His phone number is 630-428-4995. He is doing a complete and thorough review of both the missing person case and the arson “investigation” if you could call it that. I believe he will leave no stone unturned. If there is anyone out there who knows something but perhaps is reluctant to share with the police, please contact Matt at the above number/address/email.
I’m not giving up so don’t get too comfortable. Dave maybe now would be a good time to come forward and take a lie detector test. If you want us to stop focusing on you, that would be a good start. I don’t want to waste time barking up the wrong tree and only you can send my focus elsewhere by taking the test. Don’t be a coward as you have been for the past 5 years.

Wow, I can’t imagine how frustrated you must be. I just learned of this case an hour ago on a show called Missing and even I’m frustrated. And the way you’re being stonewalled by the Sheriff’s dept is just… well, criminal.
I pray you find the answers you need… keep up the fight!
Why haven’t State and Federal investigators been brought in on this case? There was a case in Oswego County in Upstate New York when a man’s wife knew he was in a well on her property. Local police did not even look for him there. It turned out he was there, and had most likely been murdered by some organized crime members involved int the none mile nuclear plant construction. As a local stringer for a newspaper i tired to investigate by gaining the trust of some men likely who knew what had happened. These were unsavory scary fellows. I was glad when they finally looked for the body. It was there the who;e time. What an outrage. I am not saying the local police have been paid off or whatever, just try to get the FBI involved. They will ensure that all evidence comes to light.
I agree with Marc. The police obviously don’t have much experience finding a missing person. Don’t stop searching!! He’s out there somewhere.
It is sad because you grow up thinking the police are going to be there to help you, should you need it. Either your suspect has an in at the station who has thrown it off, or they are just ill equipped or too lazy to deal with it. FBI involvement would be great and a fresh pair of eyes could make a difference. Hope your PI can find a new lead but most importantly point you to your brother’s remains.
