The Disappeared episode about John, “When the Music Stopped”, season one, episode 10 is airing again here in the U.S. It’s continued to be aired everywhere around the world since 2010 and I’ve received countless thoughtful emails from people who have seen the episode. I truly believe that this keeps pressure on those who know something and someone knows something. We will get the truth!!!!!!

I just received word from Clear Channel that they will be keeping John’s billboards up through January!!!! That’s great news and we are so grateful to Clear Channel and Ed Marcin for their work and generosity!!!

Some guy contacted me saying he had information. Then when I responded and asked him what it was he emailed back the following. Why would someone tell me they had info and then not be willing to share it? Probably cuz he’s a total nutcase.

Second Annual Party for John Spira

We are coming up on the 6 year anniversary of John’s disappearance. I can’t believe it’s been so long. I’m planning to have the party again at Stormy’s Tavern in Northfield IL on Saturday 2/23/13. Hope you can make it. Once I get the times set I’ll post it but I’m thinking around 4pm till whenever!

Johnny B has graciously invited me to be on his show again tomorrow morning (Thursday, 11/8/2012) during the 7am hour to talk with a psychic. He’s on WGN radio, 720 am. This is awesome!!! He’s giving John so much exposure which is exactly what his case needs! Hope lots of you will call in so they know people are following this!!!

The billboards are up all over Chicagoland!!! We can’t thank Clear Channel enough for givng John so much exposure and also want to thank Johnny B and Buzz Kilman for having me on this morning and getting John’s story out in such a big way!!! I’ve always been a huge fan! And thanks to Steve Miller for always having me on when something occurs in John’s case. David Lohr wrote a great article as well. It all helps to keep the pressure on!!! Now if only SHERIFF ZARUBA would publicly state this is foul play and Stubben is a person of interest maybe things would fall into place.

Clear Channel is donating 14 billboards for John. 14!!!!! One is up in Villa Park today and others are scheduled to go up by next Monday including one downtown at the Ogilve Train Station. This is awesome!!! Thank you Clear Channel and Ed Marcin for your donation and hard work!!!

First I’d like to thank all the people who continue to reach out and support us. It’s so heartwarming to know that people still truly care after so long and I’m extremely grateful for that.

Second, and this is such great news, Clear Channel, has once again agreed to donate billboard space for John!!! They have 48 digital billboards across Chicagoland and I’m not sure where his picture will be, but if you see it, please let me know. I’m indebted to Clear Channel for what they are doing for us and that is keeping John’s story alive and putting pressure on those who murdered him and think they got away with it. You know who you are and you should know it’s my goal in life to make you squirm.

The billboards are scheduled to go on 11/1/2012. Again, if you happen to see it let me know!

but that doesn’t mean I don’t think of him constantly and what could’ve happened. So many scenarios go through my mind and they all lead back to Dave Stubben, last guy to see him, and Suzanne, who died with her secret. Why, why, why won’t Dave take a lie detector test? I know it’s not the be all end all of the case but if you’ve got nothing to hide, you hide nothing.

Update on John Spira case

Our private investigator, Matt Hale, has been digging deep into John’s case. He has found that no accelerants were tested at the time of the fire???? WTH?? If that’s true, if there were accelerants to be tested and it was not done, that is complete and total negligence on the part of the Dupage County Sheriff’s Dept., Fire Task Force. I’m dumbfounded by that, though based on the history of this case, I shouldn’t be surprised. Also, many people keep suggesting we put up another sign. WE HAVE PUT UP ANOTHER SIGN. It’s right in front of the old UCC building on County Farm Road. I know alot of you have suggested we do surveillance but that’s much easier said than done. The logistics involved are difficult, there are expenses, and at this point in time I doubt if anyone is stupid enough to mess with the sign especially in light of all the comments on this website that suggest we put up surveillance. I’m just happy to have John’s pictures up there so David Stubben can see them everytime he drives by. Oh yea, and Matt did a Freedom of Information Act request that was DENIED!!! How is that possible. The IL Attorney General’s Office already made them turn the documents over to me after I had to appeal and now they’re denying Matt????? Unflippinbelievable.

I think the most important thing that could happen here, is for David Stubben to take a lie detector test. All of this would go away for him once he passed the test. He should have done it 5 years ago and then we wouldn’t have wasted all this time focusing on him but because he has refused, oh and because he was the last guy to see John alive and lied about that, and because somehow John’s company truck got moved right into Dave Stubben’s normal parking spot on the night John disappeared, and because Dave was mad at John for financial reasons and because Dave said nothing wrong with the finances until the heat was turned up and then started making stuff up about John and the finances in June, and because the plastic wrap was missing from the office, and because the building burned down right after we put up the big banner that went missing at the same time, and because he rushed over to John’s house to “help Suzanne shovel snow” during a search, etc….we have focused on Dave. Dave has been cowardly in his refusal to talk to the police or the press. If you’ve got nothing to hide, you hide nothing. And what must his wife Donna think…and their kids? That Dave had nothing to do with this? C’mon. If he’s truly innocent, why then hasn’t he filed a libel suit against me? Not that I’ve ever come right out and said he’s the one…I’ve simply asked that he take the lie detector test so we can cross him off his list, but if I were him and even that was said, I think I’d file a libel suit. Of course, then we’d have to show he did in fact do this, in court, where we would be able to question him under oath in depositions and at trial and we would be able to do discovery and obtain all kinds of information, including information about his finances, the company’s finances, we’d be able to depose other witnesses including all those who work at UCC and so, so much more. The burden of proof in a civil case is much less stringent than in a criminal case. Think OJ. Being an attorney myself, I know these things.

Suzanne Spira and Dave Stubben made agreement on the burned UCC building payout!

On 10/30/07, it was reported that Suzanne “advised she and David Stubben have been working on an agreement for her portion of the Universal Cable building but she refused to disclose the terms of their agreement.” Um, wow.

Does this mean that as soon as a month after the fire, money was being paid out to both Dave and Suzanne? It was reported there was $750,000.00 in damage to the building. So if this is in reference to an insurance payout, then not only was this actually not considered arson, it had to have been declared accidental. How is that possible?????? Maybe Dave could shed some light on this for us.

His phone number is 630-428-4995. He is doing a complete and thorough review of both the missing person case and the arson “investigation” if you could call it that. I believe he will leave no stone unturned. If there is anyone out there who knows something but perhaps is reluctant to share with the police, please contact Matt at the above number/address/email.

I’m not giving up so don’t get too comfortable. Dave maybe now would be a good time to come forward and take a lie detector test. If you want us to stop focusing on you, that would be a good start. I don’t want to waste time barking up the wrong tree and only you can send my focus elsewhere by taking the test. Don’t be a coward as you have been for the past 5 years.
